SMEs and startups with innovative green-tech solutions (TRL ≥ 6) are encouraged to apply, with priority given to carbon farming solutions—be sure to check the list of eligible regions!

The INNO4CFIs Acceleration Program ensures continuous support for SMEs and startups while fostering a sustainable innovation ecosystem that extends beyond the project’s timeline.

INNO4CFIs Accelerator Program

The INNO4CFIs Accelerator Program is calling on innovative Green tech SMEs and startups from selected European regions to foster their market uptake and validate their technologies! This Accelerator program offers equity-free support to 40 promising solutions/initiatives demonstrating strong market potential and a minimum technological readiness level (TRL of 6).

Tailored Business Support

Participants will benefit from a 4-month tailored acceleration program, designed to refine their market and technology validation strategies and advance their solutions (up to TRL 9). Expert guidance will ensure compliance with Circular Economy and Regulatory Compliance Standards (CRCS) and the European Carbon Removal Certification Framework.

Interregional Market Uptake Hub

A cornerstone of this journey is the opportunity to participate in the Interregional Market Uptake Hub (IMUH), a pan-European network and marketplace being developed by this project, that connects solutions seekers and technology providers, while simultaneously increasing their visibility, fostering community collaborations, and preparing them for future investment opportunities.

Open Call Applications

INNO4CFIs Accelerator is now accepting applications, through the first Open Call process, providing a unique opportunity for up to 15 eligible SMEs and startups to join this transformative journey. Throughout the next 10 months, 2 other Open Calls will be launched to select up to 40 initiatives to enrol and benefit from this Acceleration Program. Stay tuned!

Who can apply?

🌍 Who can apply? Legally established SMEs or startups developing Carbon Farming or Green Tech solutions.

🌍 Technology Readiness Level (TRL 6+): Your solution must be a working prototype tested in relevant conditions.

🌍 Eligible locations: Your company must be registered in one of these regions:

🌿 Italy: Lazio, Lombardia, Toscana

🌿 Netherlands: Zuid-Holland

🌿 Ireland: Eastern and Midland

🌿 Belgium: Brussels, Liège

🌿 Spain: Castilla y León, Comunitat Valenciana

The INNO4CFIs Accelerator Program is a key activity of the IMUH and aims to drive the development and scaling of green technology ventures. Participants will benefit from access to business acceleration resources, tailored mentoring, and networking opportunities to boost their capacity for market entry and growth.

The INNO4CFIs project

The project INNO4CFIs co-funded by the European Union’s Interregional Innovation Investments Instrument (I3) is committed to promote disruptive solutions in carbon farming, land management and decarbonization leading to highly effective environmental, economic and social impact.

During 36 months (September 2023 – August 2026), a network of 20 partners representing the innovation ecosystem of 13 different regions from 8 European countries (IT, GR, ES, BE, NL, IE, DE, FR), will join forces to make this a reality.
